Terms of Use
The terms on which this site, the HazardX platform and Alfa HazardX hardware may be used.
Last updated 9 September 2026 · Alfa HazardX, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India
In short
Use the site and the platform for their intended purpose, do not attack them, and do not resell or reverse-engineer the hardware.
The critical term is section 3: this is a supplementary monitoring layer, not a certified life-safety instrument, and it must not be relied on as your primary or statutory detection.
01Who these terms are with
Alfa HazardX, operated by Agresh Agrawal from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. “We” and “us” mean that. Using this site, the dashboard or the hardware means you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it.
02What you may and may not do
- Read, quote and link to anything on this site. Attribution is appreciated and not required.
- Do not attempt to reach data you were not granted, probe or attack the service, or use it to break the law.
- Do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for anyone else.
- Do not resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer or reproduce the hardware, firmware or platform without written permission.
- Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself, per the accounts policy.
03Safety limitations — read this one
Alfa HazardX is a deployable V2 field node. It is not a certified life-safety instrument and holds no safety certification of any kind.
It is designed and sold as a supplementary intelligence layer, to be deployed alongside your certified statutory fixed and personal detection equipment and never in substitution for it. Removing, disabling or downgrading certified equipment because Alfa HazardX is installed is a misuse of the product.
Specifically, and without softening: the gas channels have not been calibrated against traceable certified reference concentrations; no false-alarm or missed-detection rate has been measured, and none is published; the system may fail to detect a hazard, may detect one that is not there, and may be unavailable. Sensing elements drift and age. Detection depends on the unit having power, a clear sensing path and — for dashboard alerting — a working network.
Your statutory duties for the safety of your site and your people remain entirely yours. Nothing on this site, in this document, or in any output of the system transfers any part of them to us.
04AI-assisted analysis
The platform uses a generative model to explain events the deterministic layer has already classified. That output is advisory. It never controls actuation, never gates an alarm, and can be wrong. Treat it as a written note from an assistant, not as an instruction — operational decisions are made by your competent people.
05Availability
The site and platform are provided as they are, without any service-level commitment. There is no uptime guarantee, and none is implied by their being available today. The on-device alarm is designed to work without a network for exactly this reason — a platform outage should cost you visibility and analysis, not the buzzer.
06Intellectual property
The hardware design, firmware, platform, dashboard, text, photography and diagrams on this site are the property of Agresh Agrawal unless stated otherwise. The method behind the system is the subject of Indian patent application 202641098309, filed 13 August 2026 at The Patent Office, Chennai and published on 21 August 2026 under Section 11A.
Your data is yours. Sensor readings, incidents and configuration from your site belong to you; we process them to run the service and do not sell or share them, as set out in the privacy policy.
07Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising from the product or these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost production or lost profit. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — and in particular, nothing here is intended to limit a liability that arises because we misrepresented what this system does.
08Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India have jurisdiction. Raise anything with us first at agresh@agreshagrawal.com.
